About Us-Company Profile
Dost Boya has been established as a partnership company by Suat Sal Baran on January 14, 1981 in order to market construction products and building supplies.

In the mid years of the 80's the range of paints was given importance. The company began to deal with different types of paints. Becoming the dealer/distributor of Marshall Paint and Varnish Joint Stock Company in 1986 has enhanced this change.

In the second half of the 90's many radical changes were made. The company was changed into a Limited Company while protecting its family company structure. Imports of new decoration products was started and direct contact was made with some importing companies. The art and decorative aspects of the paint sector were focused on. Other aspects of the decoration sector, apart from paint were started to be dealt with. Consequently, a complementary system structure was built on internal and external decoration.

Development – New Products
New products have been included in our product range, these are as follows;

Effect Paint Apparatus
The effect paint apparatus import started by Dost Boya in 1998 has partly closed the big market gap in the sector. Later, through the presentation of effect paints to the decorative paint market by Marshall Paint a new era in the decorative paint sector. Dost Boya, has greatly contributed in making houses more colorful and dynamic by cooperating with Marshall Paint in this field.

Cover Sheets
Cover sheet is another product that is imported by Dost Boya for the protection of furniture and other household materials during in-home activities such as painting, repairment, etc...Good quality, strong cover sheets at suitable prices are being imported by Dost Boya since the beginning of 2000.

Spray Paint
Since we import spray paint from the Motip Dupli Co. which is one of the leading manufacturers of spray paint we have the chance of presenting our customers decorative spray paint.

Our Structure
Computer and Technical Equipment/Hardware Infrastructure
The technical infrastructure we have established in order to achieve customer satisfaction as of October 1999 is as follows. Our Computer System consists of 1 Server and 7 workstations that forms the main body of our Admnistration support. Our Server works under Windows NT and our workstations work under Windows XP. In order to communicate our introductory, price list documents to you properly we use good quality printers. We have obtained DVD printers for electronic filing and we believe that we have accomplished good filing. Our scanner is used for pictures and similar files and for brochure preparation work/procedures.

Also we have made our own web-site and is continuously being updated. We have included the 1001 color system to our technical hardware park with the suppot of Marshall and we have been supplying our customers products prepared with the 1001 color system since 1998.

Worforce Structure
We have a staff of 14 people. Our main activities such as marketing, dispatching/forwarding and storing/warehousing, retailing procedures are carried out by our own personnel. Daily accounting procedures (invoicing, dispatch lists/way bills, other accounting procedures) are also carried out by our own personnel. More technical details/procedures on accounting are provided by a consultancy company from outside.

Our delivery and marketing fleet consists of 5 marketing vehicles and 2 delivery/distribution vehicles.

Our Software and Information Support Structure
We generally use the software we have obtained from the Microsoft Company. In general we use Windows NT and Windows XP as the operating system. For our written document production we use Office 2000 pro. In the development of our Web-site again Office 2000 facilities are used.

We use software of the LOGO Co. for accounting, storing and customer follow-up.

Our Social Responsibilities
Since we believe that social activities enhance and contribute to production we participate in many social and sport activities with our personnel. In 1999 we became the third team amonst the 32 teams inthe Ortaç Carpet Field Soccer tournament.

We had participated in the regional tournaments in previous years.

Some of our Social Principles
We are environmentalist. We will encourage our suppliers to supply environmentalist products and encourage our customers to use environmentalist products.

We will try to contribute to the society by carrying out our social responsibilities. We will do our best to help solve the traffic probelm which is the greatest of our social problems.

We will show respect to intellectual property rights. We will not use copy, broken versions in our software. We will advise our partners and distributors the same.

The attempts in publications for knowledge on paint nd other relating matters are continuing. We have many attempts and relations with many resources outside. We will continue to increase our attempts.

Our Targets and Plans
We will seek new products close to paint products. We will have attempts on Virtual Trade over the Internet.
